It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Yoko Hatano Shaw of Greensboro, North Carolina, who passed away on February 17, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Lee Shaw; her son Robert Shaw, Jr.; her parents, Chiyomitsu Hatano and Yono Hatano; and her brother Tsutomu Hatano.
She is survived by: her children, Patricia McMasters (Mike) of Liberty and David L. Shaw of Greensboro; her siblings, Setsuko, Hiroko, Mieko and Hitoshi Hatano; her granddaughters, Megan McMasters, Madison McMasters and Emma Shaw; and her great grandchild Olivia Mae Hagen.
