He is survived by : his children, Tashala Simpson Royster (Quintin, Jr) of Clarksville, TN, Chad Nobles, Imani Dalton of Houston, TX, Joy Godley, Re-Aliti Thomas and Jaylyn Phillips; his grandchildren, Quintin, Sienna Royster, Ja'Kye Harris, Jy'Ava Edwards and Imilliana Boyd; and his close friends, Chester and Tonya Hall.

Viewing was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Philippi Church of Christ (3760 Philippi Dr, Greenville, NC 27858). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
