She was predeceased by: her parents, Nicola Cioppa and Annunciata Della Cioppa; her husband Pasquale Saccoccia; her siblings, Anthony, John, Nicola, Vincent Della Cioppa, Conchetta Fusaro, Louisa Senerchia, Anne Bettencourt, Cecelia Santilli and Ursula Masciarelli; and her daughter-in-law Shirley Saccoccia.
She is survived by: her children, Raymond Saccoccia of Clayton, Patricia Clark (Jack) of Granite Falls, Richard Saccoccia (Amy) of Garner and Maria Pharr (Jonathan) of Greenville. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the Iannotti Funeral Home (415 Washington St, Coventry, RI 02816). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary's Mission Church (70 Church St, West Warwick, RI 02893).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that expressions of sympathy take one of the forms she would have valued most: a Mass offered for the repose of her soul at your own parish; a gift to Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Raleigh or to St. Peter Catholic Church in Greenville, North Carolina; or simply an act of kindness done quietly for someone in her memory.
