He was predeceased by : his parents, James Benjamin "J. B." Creech and Carrie Tyson Creech; and his sisters, Sue Nelson and Barbara Garris. He is survived by : his daughter Michelle Creech Sutton (Danny Ray Sutton, Jr.) of Greenville; his grandson Skyler Belcher of Greenville; his great grandchild Fyre "Tink" Parrisher of Belvoir; and his sisters, Faye Oakley and Carol Robinson (James) of Greenville. He is also survived by several nephews and nieces.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Smith Funeral Service & Crematory (605 Country Club Dr, Greenville, NC 27834). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
