She was predeceased by: her parents, Wiley Rose and Bertha Rose; and her children, Linda Dunn and William Saunders. She is survived by: her husband Franklin Dunn; her daughters, Barbara Austin (Ricky) of Snow Hill, Elizabeth Smith (Leroy) of Winterville and Elaine Dunn of Ayden; and her sister Carolyn Mercer of Wilson. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; one great great-grandchild.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Smith Funeral Service (605 Country Club Dr, Greenville, NC 27834). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, November 26th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Pinewood Memorial Park (4150 E 10th St, Greenville, NC 27858).
