He was predeceased by: his wife Tracy Harris Mills; his parents, Willie Mae Hammond Mills and Forrest Ray Mills; and his father-in-law James Ray Harris. He is survived by: his mother-in-law Faye B. Harris; his brother Michael R. Mills (Denise); his sister-in-law Rebecca H. Futrell (Wilbert); his nieces, Eileen M. Relford (Stephen) and Shelley F. Tripp (Sam); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Samuel Jr. and Saria; and his close friend Hamish. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews.
