He is survived by: his wife Laheart Taylor; his children, Donald Taylor, Jr. and Jennifer Taylor; his grandchildren, Saadiq Ali Taylor and Jerzi Madison Hughes; his brother Leon Edwards, Jr.; his nieces, Veleda Taylor, Octavia Taylor and Joy Taylor; his in-laws, Sarah Wilkins (Floyd), Lillie Bailey, Jeffrey Bailey, Michael Bailey (Kaamilya), Bryan Bailey, Allen Bailey (Najiyyah) and Lynn Johnson; Leon Edwards, Sr.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
