He is survived by: his nephew David Earl; his daughter Sasha Martin (Thomas) of Cary; his grandchildren, Faith and Hayden; his spouse Sandie T. Fleming; his siblings, Richard Earl Fleming, Jr., Robert E. Fleming and Agnes "Maggie" Worsley; and his niece Linda "Joy" Schulz.
