It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hubert Nathaniel Edwards of Greenville, North Carolina, who passed away on February 18, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Velma Beddard Edwards (Kitty) and Fred Edwards, Sr.; his significant other Annie Ree Hardee Edwards; his daughters, Rhonda Edwards Raper and Sarah Edwards Nichols; and his siblings, Jane Anthony, Tull McArthur, Lucille Sumrell, Fred Edwards, Jr. and Lindy Edwards.

He is survived by : his daughter Sharon Harris (Kirby); his grandchildren, Lee Bailey (Vanessa), Courtney Hardee (Trey), Dale Harris, Tyler Nichols (Tiffany) and Wesley Nichols (Anna); his great grandchildren, Colton Bailey, Weston, Wyatt, Sawyer Hardee, Lillyanne and Layla Nichols; his siblings, Peggy Paige and Jimmy Edwards; and his sister-in-law Frances Edwards.
