He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Jones Crawford; his children, Patricia Crawford Best (Roger) of Arapahoe and James Thomas Crawford, Jr. of Sneads Ferry; his grandchildren, Bryan Edward Mills (Michelle) of Saudi Arabia, Justin McCulloch of Greenville, Allen Ray Wilkins of Minnesott Beach, Devinne of Germany, Julie of Germany, Victoria of Germany, Lana Crawford of Germany, Mia Crawford of Sneads Ferry, Candie Reeves (Bryan) and Dillion Guss; and his close friend Sen. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Smith Funeral Service & Crematory (605 Country Club Dr, Greenville, NC 27834). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
