He is survived by: his wife Tina Cox; his children, Christina Ott (Grant Ott) of Greenville and Robert Dale Cox of Columbus, GA; his father Robert Lee Cox Sr. of Greenville; his brother Robert Lee Cox Jr. (Teresa) of Greenville; and his grandson Jay Lee Cox III (L. J.) of Erwin, NC..
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wilkerson Funeral Home & Crematory - Greenville (2100 E 5th St, Greenville, NC 27858). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
