He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Edward Downing, Sr. and Louise Downing McGinty. He is survived by: his daughter Emily Downing Nock (Daniel); his granddaughters, Maggie Elizabeth and Hadlee Lynn; his former wife Vickie Downing; and his sister Sandy Barber.
