We are sad to announce that on December 6, 2025, at the age of 72, Judy Smith Skinner of Greenville, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Smith and Peggy Smith; her husband Don Skinner; her siblings, Kathleen Carmen and Eric Thomas; and her daughter-in-law Trisha Sparrow.
She is survived by: her children, Justin Smith (Jessica) of Greenville, Philip Cartwright (Katie) of Smithfield, Lyn Cartwright (Ashley) of Greenville, Mona Cartwright of Washington, Christina Escobar (Nicholas) of Roper, Amanda Cartwright (Adolfo) of New Bern, Jesse Skinner (Brigette) of Washington and Brandy Edwards of Washington; and her sister Carolyn Smith (John) of Washington. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Smith Funeral Service & Crematory (605 Country Club Dr, Greenville, NC 27834). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
