She is survived by: her sons, Brent Peele of Columbia, SC, Dallas Peele, Sr. of Winterville, NC and Floyd Peele of Brownsburg, Ind; and her siblings, James Whitehurst of South Dakota, Early Whitehurst of Jamesville, NC, Claudine Land of Greensboro, NC, Cora Whitehurst of Jamesville, NC. and Almedia McCallum of Jamesville, NC.. She is also survived by 15 Grandchildren and 9 Great-Grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Union Town Church of Christ (2801 Uniontown Rd, Jamesville, NC 27846).
