She was predeceased by: her parents, James Roy and Gracie Miles Barnett; her husband Garland Otto Hartsoe; her daughter Yvonne Hartsoe Conner; her granddaughter Bonnie Conner McCollough; her sister Reva Mae Jones; and her grandmother Nana (Cowboy).
She is survived by: her aunt Moppy; her daughters, Beth Hartsoe Shadrick of Winterville, NC and Gracie Goins (Lynn) of Raleigh, NC; her sister Carol Williams of Winterville, NC; her grandchildren, Marc Conner, Bryan Conner, Martha Heaton, Blake Conner, Lynn Goins, Joe Goins, Hart Evans and Grace Evans Horn; and her niece Susan Williams Britt. She is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great grandchildren.
As her Alzheimer's progressed, she was still thankful for anything anyone did for her- even in her final days.
