He is survived by: his friend Bryon Tyson; his wife Mary Alice Hines-Teel; his foster daughter Jennifer Carr; his granddaughters, Kyeosha Hines, Keiyonna Carr and Kadasia Carr; his children, Dokeita Lamont Ebron (Cynthia) of Greenville, NC, Tracey Clemons-Chavis of Greenville and Sheretha Ebron-Simms (Ronnie) of Greenville; his grandchildren, Lakeitia Ebron of Greenville, Kaliah Simms of Greenville, Tyekeira Ebron of Greenville and Dokeita Ebron, Jr. of Greenville; his great grandchildren, Khyson Coleman and Josyen Maye; his siblings, Alonza Teel, Jr. (Evelyn) of Greenville, Dennis Earl Teel (Dorothy) of Greenville, Annie Teel Barnhill of Grimesland, Lille Mae Smith of Grimesland, Ella (Peggy), Tetterton (Kelvin) of Simpson and Carrie Teel Dixon (Floyd) of Winterville; and his nieces, Floydesha and Eunice Paulina La'Shaye Teel.
Viewing will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the New Wynn Chapel Missionary Baptist Church (191 Package-Craft Rd, Bethel, NC 27812). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
