She is survived by: her husband Tom Carawan; her children, Brandi Holmes (Chris) and Brian Carawan (Jessica); her grandchildren, Lindsay Bunch (Josh), Tucker, Leah, Lexi Gray, Eleanor and June; her great grandchildren, Noah and Beckett; her sister Sondra Bland (James); and her nephew Joseph Padley.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wilkerson Funeral Home & Crematory - Greenville (2100 E 5th St, Greenville, NC 27858). A funeral service was held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Trinity Free Will Baptist Church (3111 Golden Rd, Greenville, NC 27858). A graveside service was held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 at the Pinewood Memorial Park (4150 E 10th St, Greenville, NC 27858).
