She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Davis and Celia Thompson Alphin; her husband James I. Vick; and her siblings, Arlene, Pauline Alphin, Norma Lee Alphin, Mattie Mae Alphin, Sybil A. Sanderson, Ruby A. Quinn, Oneil A. Foster, Kathleen Turner Alphin, Nathaniel D. Alphin, Harvey C. Alphin and W. D. Alphin.
She is survived by: her sister Edna A. Ellis of Richlands; her nieces, Paulette Hyland, Sandra Huffman (Dickie), Marie Moore (Wayne) and Yvonne Jones (Lewis); her nephew Scott Foster (Debbie); and her close friends, Dorothy Hudson, Libby Wainwright and Jennie Powers.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Wilkerson Funeral Home & Crematory - Greenville (2100 E 5th St, Greenville, NC 27858). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
