William Edward Jones Obituary

We are sad to announce that on December 5, 2025, at the age of 85, William Edward Jones of Greenville, North Carolina passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of William Edward Jones to pay them a last tribute.

He is survived by: his wife Betty Nethercutt Jones; his children, Jerri Ross (Johnnie) of Winterville and Eddie Jones (Lynn) of Greenville; his grandchildren, Connor Jones, Kaley Ross, Morgan Ross and Walker Ross; his great grandchild Collins Jones; his sister-in-law Kathy Conway; and his friends, Tommy and Nancy Joyner.

Viewing was held on Monday, December 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the Farmville Funeral Home (202 Belvedere Dr, Greenville, NC 27834). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Farmville First Baptist Church (3653 E Wilson St, Farmville, NC 27828). A reception was held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Farmville First Baptist Church at P. O. Box 34, Farmville, N.C. 27828.
