He was predeceased by: his parents, William Mack Lineberger and Lola Virginia Tate Lineberger; and his wives, Catherine Bradshaw Lineberger and Helen Hahn Lineberger. He is survived by: his sister Hazel Lineberger Cross of Tamarac, Florida; his children, Lisa Crawley Smith (David) of Greenville and William Bradley Lineberger (Jennifer) of Cary; his grandchildren, Gary Lineberger, CJ Lineberger, Susan Lineberger, Franklin Lineberger, Sydney Crawley Pilgrim (Taylor), Mary Ellen Crawley (Annie), Caroline Crawley and Virginia Crawley; and his great grandchildren, Max Pilgrim, Mason Pilgrim, Nora Pilgrim and Sam Pilgrim.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Memorial Baptist Church (1510 Greenville Blvd SE, Greenville, NC 27858). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Memorial Baptist Church Food Pantry, 1510 SE Greenville Blvd., Greenville, NC 27858; or a charity of your choice.
