With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Catherine Elizabeth Bailey of Grifton, North Carolina, who passed away on June 18, 2023 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Charlie Taylor and Adelle Harrell Taylor; her husband Willy Bailey (Dick); and her brother Randy Taylor. She is survived by : her sons, Lawrence Whaley (Joan) of Winterville and Mitchell Whaley (Serena) of Denton, NC; her grandchildren, Ben Whaley (Heather), Alana Harris (Brian) and Chris Whaley (Gina); her great grandchildren, River, Brenen, Alyese Whaley, Lincoln, Anderson Harris, Makenze and Annabelle Whaley; and her sister Dorothy Baker of Raleigh.
