It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dennis Joseph Sherwood of Grifton, North Carolina, who passed away on May 19, 2022, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewelyn Sherwood and Grace Sherwood Hanchett; his stepfather Clarence Hanchett; his siblings, Jim, Dick, Donna and Gloria; and his son Stephen.
He is survived by: his son Dennis (Anne Marie); his granddaughters, Claire and Abigail; his siblings, Tom, Debbie and Diane; his stepdaughter Elizabeth; and his granddaughter Gracie.
