We are sad to announce that, on October 29, 2025, at the age of 94, Ella Jean Cannon of Grifton, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Ella may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Ella touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She is survived by: her children, Johnny Fleming of Winterville, NC and Ruby Jean Cannon of Grifton, NC; and her siblings, Curtis Jones of Baltimore, MD and Lillian Moore of Winterville, NC..
