It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald Smith (Grifton, North Carolina), who passed away on June 11, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Phillip Smith and Pauline Hardy Smith; his brother James Webster Smith "Webbie"; his son Henry Phillip Smith; his sister Joan Smith Worthington (Bobby); and his niece Brenda Smith.
He resided at Kinston Veteran's Home from 2019 due to declining Alzheimer's condition.
