It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Nathaniel Hardison Sr. of Grifton, North Carolina, who passed away on July 24, 2022, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, James Henry and Mary Emma Hardison; and his sisters, Margaret Smith, Annie Jane Keeter and Mary Ruth Johnson.

He is survived by : his wife Elva Rae; his children, Phyllis Townsend (Roger) of High Point, Kenneth Hardison (Hope) of Grifton and James N Hardison, Jr. (Carol) of Fremont; and his siblings, Franklin Henry Hardison of Wellford, SC, Lydia King (Clyde) of Hillsboro and Shirley Moser of Burlington. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren.
