He was predeceased by: his mother Fannie Thomas Kirkman. He is survived by: his father Joseph Cephus Rouse; and his sisters, Mamie Lee Ange, Lola Johnson Bernard, Lou Isabelle Sermons, Sally V. Whitley and Fannie Alice Clark. He is also survived by 20 nieces, and nephews.
