He was predeceased by: his parents, James Henry Gray II and Lillian Dell Moye Gray. He is survived by: his son Chris Gray (Stephanie); his grandchild Addison of Greenville; his children, Ryan Gray of Greenville and Katherine Hardee of Greenville; and his brothers, James "Chip" Gray (Jeanette) of Raleigh, Billy Gray (Jo Ann) of Independence, LA, Bob Gray of Washington and Van Gray of Robersonville. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
