She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Seth, Lucy Dupree, Preston and Esther Strickland; her brother Scott Dupree; and her nephew Brandon Armstrong.
She is survived by: her children, Tyerica Barrett (Michael) and Tykeria Artis; her grandchildren, Nautica, Amiya, Arie'anna, Niy'Keyceon, Zi'yaun, Jaxon, Elaina and Marley; her parents, Johnnie Dupree and Gail Dupree; her husband Chris Artis; her sister Amy Castleberry (Chris); her sibling's children, Nikole Dupree (Kaylia), Preston Dupree (Madeline) and Aeryn Castleberry; her close friends, Christy Davis and Melissa Williams; and her sister-in-law Latasha Jackson.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Smith Funeral Service to assist the family with funeral expenses.
