He was predeceased by : his father Dan Mills; and his sister Dana of Greenville. He is survived by : his wife Melody Kay Johnson of Grimesland; his mother Rhonda Mills of Greenville; his son Parker Mills (Whitney); his granddaughter Henley of Vanceboro; his son Tanner Mills of Morehead City; his siblings, Tracy Mills (Stephanie) of Black Jack and Danielle Mills of Greenville; his nephews, Logan, Zach and Patrick; and his stepdaughters, Kaylia and Amanda.

A celebration of life was held on Thursday, May 23rd 2024 at 7:00 PM at 909 Arendell St B, Morehead City, NC 28557.
