With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Willie Benton of Grimesland, North Carolina, who passed away on April 8, 2022 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by : his wife Doris Benton; his daughter Shirley Moore-Hardy of Greenville, NC; and his siblings, Linwood Benton (Jessie) of Middletown, DE, Cornelius Benton (Sonya) of Charlotte, NC, Rodney Benton of Grifton, NC and Linda Gillispie (Aaron) of Grifton, NC. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
