He is survived by: his wife Judy Vess; his children, Brian Vess and Gina Vess McLean (Damon); his siblings, Ruth Hamrick, Betty Warren, Jeanette Bridges (Max) and Jack Vess; and his grandchildren, Maddie, Kate and Sophia.
