He was predeceased by: his parents, James Kenneth Carpenter and Nancy Owens Carpenter; and his brother Bubba Wilson. He is survived by: his daughter Gabby Carpenter; his aunt Kathy; his uncle Ricky Jackson; and his sibling's children, Sabrina Carpenter and Jacob Carpenter.
