It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Christine Alyce Lee in Grover, North Carolina, born in Jacksonville, Florida, who passed away on September 25, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Hanks and Lois Hanks. She is survived by: her husband George L. Lee, Jr.; her children, Kim Linzy (Pastor Keith) and G. Leighton Lee, III (Season); her grandchildren, Jonathan Linzy, Brian Linzy (Savannah), Riley Linzy, Shepherd Lee and Eden Lee; and her sister Linda Parker (Don). She is also survived by 11 nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM and on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Morning Star Baptist Church (832 S Post Rd, Shelby, NC 28152). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
