He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Franklin Childers and Laura Hogue Childers; and his siblings, Jack Childers, Lucille Neal and Ella Mae Moore. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Grover (403 Cleveland Ave, Grover, NC 28073). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 at the Grover Cemetery (207 Bethlehem Church Rd, Grover, NC 28073).
