Tresa Hovis Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Tresa Hovis of Grover, North Carolina, born in Cleveland, North Carolina, who passed away on March 18, 2024 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, J. T. Laughlin and Luesenior Champion Laughlin; her brothers, Ronnie Laughlin and Farrell Laughlin; and her brothers-in-law, A. Fortenbury and Steve Garver.

She is survived by : her son Brandon Hovis; her daughter-in-law Brooke of Grover; her grandsons, Abel and Jase Hovis; and her siblings, Martha Fortenbury of Fallston, Brenda Garver of Clover, SC, Trena Whitaker (Gary) of Shelby, Terry Laughlin (Pam) of Cherryville and Freddie Laughlin of Shelby. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
