He was predeceased by: his parents, William Plummer Johnson, Sr. and Luecrecy Powell Johnson; and his siblings, William Plummer Johnson, Jr., Virginia J. Rosser and Carstine J. Hogan.
He is survived by: his siblings, Helen J. Faulcon (Marvin) of Raleigh, NC, Dorothy J. Brown (Lee) of Roanoke Rapids, NC, Emily J. Hicks (Robert) of Roanoke Rapids, NC, Mary J. Harvey (Alexander), Gwendolyn J. Smith of Littleton, NC, James Johnson (Earnestine) of Knightdale, NC and Delores J. Johnston (Ernest) of Knightdale, NC; his uncle Claude Powell of Upper Marlboro, MD; and his brother-in-law Edwin Hogan of Baltimore, MD. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Because of Covid-19, the wearing of masks and social distancing will be practiced at the discretion of each individual.
