He was predeceased by: his mother Jo Ann Morgan Daughtry; and his stepfather William Avery Daughtry. He is survived by: his wife Susie Hux Capps; his children, Hannah Emory (Bryan) of Pine Level and Jonathan Capps (Marisa) of San Antonio, TX; his sister Debbie Capps of Wilson; and his grandchildren, Owen Emory, Oliver Emory, Neal Capps and Isabelle Capps.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Dawson Baptist Church (9775 13 Bridges Rd, Enfield, NC 27823). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
