She was predeceased by: her parents, Audrey Young and Grace Sasser Young; her husband Cicero "Jack" Watts; her siblings, J. A. Young and Jacqueline Strickland; and her niece Ashley Soles.

She is survived by: her nieces and nephews, Janet Soles of Whiteville, Jeffie Sellers of Hallsboro, Jean Hyatt of Whiteville, Audrey Brown of Bolton and Jerry Strickland of Whiteville.
