He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Zeno Whitfield and Stella Daniel Roebuck Whitfield; and his siblings, Harvey Edward Whitfield, Starkey Eugene Whitfield and Janie Dare Whitfield Foster.
He is survived by: his significant other Susan Carol Johnson; his sister Shirley Ann Whitfield Oglesby; his children, Amy Osborne (Steve) and Amery Whitfield; and his grandchildren, William Whitfield (Misty), Susan Alexandra, Morgan Marie, Ivy Elise and Raven Amilia.
