We bid farewell to Donna Covington Cranford of Hamlet, North Carolina, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on August 5, 2025 at the age of 65. Donna Covington touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Raymond Covington and Shirley Carlisle. She is survived by: her husband Deon Cranford Jr.; her children, Cayce Holmes and Deon Cranford III (Laura); her sisters, Janet Yannone (Cy) and Cindy Daniels (Dwain); and her grandchildren, Carma Rae Pressley, Cameron Holmes, Aubrey Cranford, Atticus Wise and Callie Wise.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the The Ballroom (3 West Ave, Hamlet, NC 28345). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Hamlet (208 Charlotte St, Hamlet, NC 28345).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Tunnels to Towers Foundation, Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN), causes that were dear to Donna.
