He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Elsie Oxendine Reed and George Stuart Reed, Sr.; his wife Pamela Fetner Reed (Wingate University); his daughters, Jessica Reed Williams and Heather Reed Trippet (Chase); and his granddaughter Elizabeth Williams.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the First Baptist Church. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to The Cape Fear American Heart Association or First Baptist Church (208 Charlotte St. Hamlet, NC 28345).
