He is survived by: his children, Harold "Dwayne" Covington of Huntersville, NC and Nancy Covington Caulder (Ronald) of Laurel Hill, NC; and his siblings, Mary Lou Covington of Cheraw, SC, William "Bill" Covington (Kathy) of Rockingham, NC, Dorothy Locklear of Laurinburg, NC, Edwin Covington of Charlotte, NC and Judy Llowe of Elizabeth City, NC. He is also survived by grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
