He is survived by: his daughter Dana Willoughby; his grandchildren, Emma Clancy, Tullis Clancy, Hadley Thomas, Aiden Thomas and Ben Thomas; his great grandchild Silas Thomas; and his sister Peggy Chapman.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 9:45 AM to 10:45 AM at the Carter Funeral Home (705 S Caroline St, Rockingham, NC 28379). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
