With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marion Helms Haltiwanger (Hamlet, North Carolina), born in Charlotte, North Carolina, who passed away on March 16, 2024 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, William Horace Helms and Erma Dixon Helms; her brother Samuel Helms; her son W. L. Haltiwanger, III; and her husband Dr. Bill Haltiwanger.

She is survived by : her children, Harriet Horn (Roger), Cindy Watkins (Rick), Missy Kirkland (Ricky) and Len Haltiwanger (Kim); her grandchildren, Adam Horn (Caely), Andrew Horn (Charlotte), Lindsay Kelly (Scott), David Watkins (Emily), Emily Morgenstern (Dan), Caroline Poole (Hayden), Elizabeth Gotkowski (Trevor), Will Haltiwanger (Evelyn) and Meredith Haltiwanger; and her great grandchildren, Adelaide Horn, Luke Horn, Madison Kelly, Emma Kelly, Helms Watkins, Austin Watkins, Sammy Morgenstern, Miles Morgenstern, Luna Gotkowski and Lolli Gotkowski.
