We are sad to announce that, on February 26, 2026, at the age of 76, Myra Wittman Garrett of Hamlet, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Hubert Gregory Wittman and Elizabeth Caulder Wittman; her husband Gentry Garrett; and her cousin Annie Ruth Caulder. She is survived by: her daughter Genny; her son-in-law Brian Baucom of Rockingham; her grandsons, Braden, Maddox and Owen Baucom of Rockingham; her brother Greg Wittman (Judy) of Charlote; her daughter Myra; Bailey Dawkins, Blaine Robson and Linda Caulder.

Because of her love for animals, the family suggests memorials be made to Richmond County Animal Shelter, 529 US HWY 74 W, Rockingham, NC 28379.
