We are sad to announce that, on March 30, 2026, Barbara Sellers Darden of Hampstead, North Carolina, born in Selma, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Barbara shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Barbara farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lessie Murphy and Thurman Sellers; and her siblings, Randy Sellers and Linda Creech. She is survived by: her husband Charles Darden; her daughter Beth Velthoven (Mark); her grandson Darden Velthoven; her sister Peggy Madsen (Ken); and her sister-in-law JoAnne Phillips (Larry). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
