It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charlotte Alford of Hampstead, North Carolina, who passed away on March 23, 2026, at the age of 55, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles "Charlie" Gilbert Diehl and Marcella Ann Hodge. She is survived by: her husband Fang Alford; her children, Ashton Alford Perry (Jake) of Castle Hayne, NC, Trenton Diehl of Wilmington, NC and Keegan Alford (Malena) of Wilmington, NC; her grandson Karson Alford of Wilmington, NC; and her siblings, Jessica Windham (Walt) of North Augusta, SC., Frannie Taylor (Clay) of Yadkinville, NC and Bobby Diehl (Ketura) of East Bend, NC. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family.
