It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dana Arnette Smith of Hampstead, North Carolina, born in Wilmington, North Carolina, who passed away on March 3, 2024, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, William Carl Miles and Hazel Marie Garner Miles; and her brother Carl Miles. She is survived by : her siblings, Darnell Miles, Cheryl Coston (Franklin, Jr.) and Angela Allen (James); her nieces and nephews, Jeremy Coston, Samuel Coston, Franklin Coston III (Erin), Jamie Allen, Joshua Miles, Rhonda Allen, Kerrie Gifford, Gina Miles, Brandy Miles and Ashley Miles; her great-nephew Christian Coston (Sammantha); and her aunt Lottie Rogers (Joe). She is also survived by many cousins, other family members and friends.
