Evangeline N. Clewis Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Evangeline N. Clewis (Hampstead, North Carolina), who passed away on June 29, 2022 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Auty Nobles and Beulah Nobles; her husband William Clewis; and her sister Edith Ward. She is survived by : her children, Cindy Gause (Kent), Buddy Clewis (Jenda), Tony Clewis (Darlene), Teresa Jimenez (Jose) and Lorraine Mendez-Ruiz (Carlos); her grandchildren, Jason Clewis (Kim), Anthony Clewis Jr. (Mary Kathryn), Crayton Butts III, Christopher Stallings, Tammy Weddington (Michael), Jennifer Benjamin (William), Holly Butler (Max Gamble), Jessica Willis, Lisa McCreless (Chris), Sabrina Fleming (Mike), Marissa and Tangela Lunesford (JJ); and her sister Josephine Hinson.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St, Jude Children's Hospital or Lower Cape Fear LifeCare.
