He was predeceased by: his parents, Garland Yopp and Rosaleen Canady Yopp; his wife Gail Yopp; and his sister Geraldine Edens. He is survived by: his children, Garland Yopp, Jr. (Rebecca) of Hampstead, David Yopp (Virginia) of Beaufort, Jason Yopp of Hampstead and Brooke Yopp of Hampstead; his grandchildren, Lucy, Garland, David, Jr. and Brylee; and his brother Ronnie Yopp (Wilma) of Sneads Ferry. He is also survived by several extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Jones Funeral Home of Holly Ridge (207 N Dyson St, Holly Ridge, NC 28445). A memorial service was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
